Just returned from an “emergency” horse call. 2 horses. One a BUCKER…the other a “BITCHER” (the caller’s words). Gave DANGEROUS Ride today. Riders wanted to know “WHY”?
Introduced myself to the Bucker first.
“I don’t LIKE her” (the rider). Oh? She’s a small lady…no weight to worry about. Why don’t you like her? “She IRRITATES ME!” Can you explain?
She showed me AND GAVE ME her PHYSICAL FEELINGS of the ride. The gal was CONSTANTLY Pressing her (horse) Left Side with her leg….BUT PULLING the REINS to the LEFT. With a LEFT Leg force the horse is trained to go RIGHT. She was obeying the rider’s “will”. BUT the gal was REINING her to the LEFT! CONFUSING THE HORSE. The horse had HAD ENOUGH and tried to get the gal OFF. BUCKING WILDLY!
I told the rider WHY. Then asked “Why do you PRESS IN with your left leg?”
Turns out her left leg was in a healing from an accident AND A BIT CROOKED. To keep her balance she PRESSED her left leg at the horses left side.
I now understood and was able to inform the horse. I too explained to the rider: “You CONFUSE the horse. She was simply trying to obey your TURN RIGHT command AND YOU tried to COMPENSATE the Right “drift” with the reins. SHE GOT FED UP WITH YOU!”
Now BOTH understood. Told the gal “Go explain WHY you where constantly doing as you were. TELL HER OF YOUR INJURY. She’ll understand.
She did so….and the horse FINALLY understood. The horse apologized.
Suggested that the gal strap on a small pillow on her bad leg. Helping relieve the pressure.
Then to the “Bitcher”. Horse “I DONT LIKE CROWDS!” Was feeling “crowded” in a ride involving several horses. She liked the LEAD or far BEHIIND the others. “Tightened up” when “crowded” and became “bitchy”. A handful to ride. Aho?
I told the rider (owner)….”YOU’RE RIGHT! I’ve NOTICED THAT about her!”
The solution was obvious.
The owner said “But at times she HAS to be in with others!”
I explained this to the horse. “In a GROUP you can help DEFEND your “people” from predator attacks…alone you are useless to them…AND open to attack YOURSELF. There’s often a good reason to “group”. Can you stand riding with 3 others? 2? You and one other? “3 makes me nervous. I can go ok with only one other…two others, I suppose.”
Told the rider. Now this is the way the rides will be made….WITH the NEEDED “Grouping” but ONLY IF NECESSARY. BOTH agreed.
Problem(s) solved.
There were 4 riders with us…listening. ALL were AMAZED! (“He DOES Talk with HORSES!”) I heard this being quietly said.
Told all “So can YOU! ANY can. But you won’t believe you can…so never will”.
Folks:
Negative beliefs are POSITIVE. JUST AS ARE POSITIVE BELIEFS POSITIVE. One STOPS…the other makes an / the “impossible” HAPPEN! REMEMBER THIS! aho? re

Mine are 10 cents to $350.00…(last quite “fancy”…thus the higher cost).
Sky’s FAR bigger and I expect it to go about $200.00…”FANCY”!
For any contemplating similar…AND HAVE MONEY…there are FASTER and STRONGER, EASY Ones that can be built. Still very cheap.
I hope to put out a book on these (in time).
One thing I’d do differently (given the $$) would be to FIRST “fit out” the FURNITURE placement….THEN the Size needed to contain these.
Still wont be a Square Box “mansion”, but EXTREMELY AFFORDABLE.  Say about $5,000.00.
If you go to “Search” and type in HOBBIT HUT IN WALES you will find EXACTLY what I’m talking about. 4 months and under $10,000.00 MOVE IN READY. Self-Built. CHECK IT OUT!  Mine are on that “line”. Our one on other property about This size…and quite similar (we hope). 34 ft inside diameter by 18 ft tall. Adding an extension to it as well. That area as Kitchen / Toilet / Storage. Built for our family of 6. Only expect 3 tho.
Anyway, adding this to this post…in case any would like to get into “housing” without an “arm and a leg”. THAT’S EXACTLY WHY I’M BUILDING THESE. An EXAMPLE to give HOPE to the Homeless and families “doubling up” at relatives’ homes. I’d like to see a “movement” of Like-Minded. HELPERS HELPING OTHERS! Aho?  re

The domes I’m making each have fire “places”. To get started I simply “rack up” (by hand) handful(s) of the dead weeds just outside their doorways. Cleaning the area at the same time. The Hundreds of dry Willow “stems” I break into pencil-size pieces. Start the fires by 1st putting in a piled handful of dry weeds…”TiPi” the dry willows over this…light the weeds…and the fire is “on its way”. Adding bigger wood as it goes.
When fire gets low…I simply add more weed “fodder”. Aho?
As an experiment I use, too, old dry / rotted straw. Found it Has to be broken up…”pads” throw out TOO MUCH smoke. Broken, a “pad” burns Fast and CLEAN. (I have quite a bit of this “useless” straw).
Tried the straw as garden “helper”….WINDS WHIPPED ‘EM ALL AWAY. So…this. Aho?
So, between 9.28 acres of WEEDS…and about 11 bales of “useless” straw bales…we aren’t hurting for Fire STARTER. Aho?
But a Bucket of this can start a WEEK’S worth of fires. WHAT DO WE DO WITH THE REST? HOW can we SAVE on TREE burning use?
Are WEEDS…COMPRESSED, perhaps an answer?
Once we lived by a HUGE sawdust / shavings pile. Took paper bags, made sure the chips / etc. were well dried (spread out in sun / raked)….and mixed the with small wood chips mixed in. We’d use 1 to 3 bags (ends folded over) to heat our home during the night. Kept the house comfortable ALL night on these. Cut our LOG consumption to almost HALF.
As the “dust” smoldered in the bags, they’d catch the CHIPS on fire…and this would continue the unlit “dust”. Was a beautiful “mating”.
Now, no sawdust pile…BUT LOTS OF WEEDS!
Wondering if one can make Weed PELLETS for Pellet Stoves. Weed “BRICKS” (compressed with car hydraulic jack) as “WOOD”. ???
I once worked at a Wood Box Factory. SAWDUST GALORE. BIG HUGE Electric Press…unused, in the shop. Got permission to use it. MADE SAWDUST “BRIQUETTES”!  The owner took ‘em home AND USED ‘EM TO REPLACE HIS WOOD in their House Heating Wood Stove. Told me: “You’re ONTO SOMETHING!”  They sold the shop before the “something” could “come to any use”. So….???
Weeds tho, found about anywhere…can maybe “do” the same thing. No one wants WEEDS …dry or not…in their garden Organic Mix. So, WHAT GOOD ARE THEY!
Nature uses ‘em TO SPREAD FIRES. Right? WHY NOT CONTAIN THEM for YOUR USE?
Just ‘tossing this out’ to you, the reader, to think about. Might help “MOM” / NATURE / AND keep your place Fire Resistant and “groomed”…and YOU BENEFIT FROM this “Useless” By-Product of NATURE. Aho?

Today’s kids often have no way to “get a job”. No longer can find/turn in Pop and Beer bottles in most states like when I was a boy. SOME States still do (Oregon for one).
But there are still OTHER ways….Lawn Cutting….Weeding….General yard Cleaning….Etc.
If you’re on a Shipping (ships) area….and the kid(s) like to fish, Well, here, boys go catch CARP / Etc., then take um to the Big Ship Docks and look for Asian Freighters. Selling their catch “on the spot” to the cook(s). Do alright too!
Any can do this. Adults as well. Just keep ’em on ice. Aho?
Carp / Suckers / +, NEED NO LICENSE TO CATCH (CHECK tho first) and you can catch NO LIMIT….YEAR ROUND.
I made decent $$ selling WORMS on “to the lake” Roads. Up to 6 years ago I sold these as bait. Just spent a few hours with a “part Dead” flashlight and got Dozens of Nightcrawlers. Kept ’em in WET NEWSPAPER in my “worm box”. Had a good thing going til the County added Chlorine to their water. KILLED ‘EM ALL!
My favorite tho was (and STILL IS) Shallow Water SALVAGE. Tie a steel rake to a strong line…”dredge” the dock (Etc.) Bottom…snag and bring up the “catch” and owners paid / pays VERY WELL. Rare for me to Skin Dive for things.
The biggest “catch” was a BRAND NEW FIBERGLASS DINGY! Owner never DID tell me how he managed to sink it. In under an hour I had $300.00.
Taught this to Matt (oldest grandson). This early summer he “contracted” to salvage a 16 ft. Fiberglass canoe. In under an hour…$100.00!
I’ve even made $$ live trapping loose PETS. The old BOX and STICK (with string to me, in hiding). EASY MONEY! ($20.00 for a Hamster…$15 for cats / Etc.).
Make $$s Dowsing broken pipes to run-away pets too….but that takes some time learning. Sky (youngest grandson) does this now too (I taught him). He’s learning “Map Dowsing” now as well. CHECK IT OUT (internet) and PRACTICE.
There IS $$ for kids, if given a little thought. Boys and Girls alike. Aho? re

Ok, took all off and she got a sign on it Immediately.
WAS A REASON: Another came out to help unload. A kid in his mid 20s.
“What were you going to use these on?”  I explained about my Low Cost Dome-making for the homeless / etc. HE WILL BE COMING OUT THIS AFTERNOON with 1 or more friends…TO LEARN TO BUILD ONE!
We got on the SPIRITUAL…HE’S a SEARCHER! HUNGER for a LIVING God!  “I go to many different churches…none seems to fill my need. All seem …. (hesitant)…well……..more “man”, than “GOD”.

Over the years I’ve “cured” MANY Migraines. NEARLY ALL ARE CAUSED BY THE FIRST 5 BONES OUT OF ALIGNMENT (from base of skull / down). Caused by YOU!
Today many are looking CONSTANTLY DOWN. Cashiers / PC users / Etc.
Simply look UPWARD and Slowly TURN YOUR HEAD (side to side), UNLOCKING THE BONE!
Most are so stiff tho it needs a Chiropractor (part of MY Training in “Med.”) to do tho.
That TOO is easily done. Usualy takes ONE MINUTE to do so. 3, most. Just too hard to explain in writing to teach here. EASY on One-On-One.
