Blog News

I’m loading several new-to-the-blog posts in the back end here, most taken from his pre-blog mailing list in late 2009 to early 2010, and some that were previously on the blog but lost in the crashes.  Even tho they’re basically just a few months’ worth, Red Elk was PROLIFIC back then!  I’m editing them for reading comprehension before posting, but my brain still gets tired so it will still be a couple weeks.  One or two I’ll post as ‘New’ because they’re That Important; the rest will be dated according to their original dates.

I also just found out that all the links to the podcasts were *also* not restored, which means I’ll have to hunt them all down again in order to link them.  Right now just the Nov 2009 interview with Zeph Daniels has been restored.  Besides Prophecykeepers and Feet to the Fire, if anyone else knows of any interviews that are still online that we can link to, if you could comment with the link it would be much appreciated.

In other news, we are still working on what will be done with the various audio lessons.  His family does want to sell them, and it may be done through iTunes or one of the other services.

Coincidences…I was checking out vortex water videos on YouTube and was surprised to see a user by the name of “redelkaudio2” . When I looked at this user’s videos/audios, I was even more surprised to see that there were many, many audio files of Red Elk. The trick to finding them is to click on the “Load More” button at the bottom of the page (keep clicking, there are 8 pages of videos and audios!). I don’t know if you were aware of that page but wanted to mention it to you just in case you hadn’t known about it.

If these are video / audio files you want to keep, you can use one of two free utility programs to download them: “aTubeCatcher” (http://www.atube.me/video/) and “YouTube_dl” (a command line downloader; instructions and download here: https://rg3.github.io/youtube-dl/). YouTube_dl takes some tweaking to get the right settings but you can run it unattended in a batch file).

Hope this is useful. Your efforts to keep Red Elk’s information from disappearing from the web is very appreciated, not only by me but by many others (though they might not voice it).

    ~Peace~

Actually I’m the one who asked him to make it absolutely clear on his channel that he was not Red Elk several years ago, which he did in the About page at least. He also added links to the former website on the Red Elk videos. Red Elk didn’t have a lot of problem with people disseminating the information he gave, but we were concerned about the people who thought he actually was Red Elk when they found the videos and were trying to ask questions.

Come to think of it, I don’t know why I didn’t ask him to update the descriptions with the new blog URL some time ago. I know doing so will probably bring haters here, but you guys won’t see them ’cause that’s what this wolverine is here for. Besides, they might learn something. 😀

    Thanks for the reminder!
