While I do believe the axis of the earth does shift over time as a natural occurrence, I do not believe this has yet happened at least significantly. You and I both live close to the same latitude. If the earth had shifted as stated on that site, we would be in complete darkness for some time during winter. The days last roughly 8 hours and 15 mins (about 10 mins longer at yours not counting the effect of the mountains to the west) at the shortest during the two weeks around the winter solstice here and have not shortened at all since I lived at this latitude.
I too believe its Natural….BUT NOT COMPLETELY SO. Over the last 2 years the inside “ball” seems to be tilting…all the next 4 above it “shift” as well (as this occurs). Anyway, SOMETHING is Different! So much so ALL Animal (Birds included) have shown strange differences. To the point I can NO LONGER RELY on the several “Telling” “Signs” I’ve grown up with. Others in NA have noticed this too. re
