No Wasted Spaces

To live SMALL does Not mean a loss of storage area.  Any contemplating down-sizing to a much smaller abode, in using your head, can STILL use space most normally considered.  STAIRS being one.

In ancient China the home owner was taxed on CLOSETS.  They overcame THAT problem by building INDIVIDUAL BOX STEPS!  Pushed against each other = a STEP to Sleeping Loft AND STORAGE within each.

Our Native Americans (those that built a permanent abode) would have one ladder built thusly:  2 STOUT Tree Branches, SPREAD AT THE BOTTOM.  Other Stout limbs as the rungs….TIED to the 2 Main.  The Spread stopped slippage of the rungs (I’ve used this a number of times).

Today, in “small”, you can do the same and HINGE at top, then pull a rope to lift at bottom and tie it UP (and “lock” the rope).  This will remove the space a ladder uses.  At the same time, tie Tube Type Bags to each rung.  As you lift, these STORAGE Bags swing freely as you lift.  Those too then Up and Out Of The Way.  Aho?

I see many steps in Tiny Abodes. Yet NONE that has a small Storage BOX … UNDER each steps bottom.

To me, WASTED SPACES.  The boxes need not be deep / etc., they will hold “light” clothing, to Books. Or your Lap Top.  Aho?

Either Hang ‘em or Pull Out (Drawer fashion).  Aho ?

THINK AHEAD!  Living “small” Can be FAR MORE CONVENIENT this way.

I’ve  just told of STAIRS here.  OTHER OLD / MOD. / HYBRID ideas “out there”.  SEARCH!  (Wink).  re
