Potential Doers?

Dec.21,2010I am constantly surprised on the number of potential “doers” who JUST DON’T “Get It!”
Time after time, I tell.
Time after time they say “I Understand.”
THEN RETURN TO THEIR “Path.”
Their “path?”
NOT RELAXING and LETTING THE CREATOR HANDEL THEIR “WALK!”
They, CONSTANTLY, PUSH themselves…to “help.”
ALL THIS DOES, Folks, is FRUSTRATE! Then they try HARDER!
MORE Frustrations!
Some go into a “funk”…some even into a deep DEPRESSION.
A few just plain “Give Up.”
How can you LEARN if you DON’T LISTEN TO SOMEONE WHO KNOWS!
???
To those that DO start to “get it,” laying down and “cuddling” into His Bosom…well, it is THEY who become CALM…even in the worst of “storms.”
OK, Again I have “told.” I’m getting tired of hearing “I understand.”
HOW OFTEN MUST I REMIND???

I’m a little embarrassed to admit i’m guilty of the above. Too many things have been holding me back. Technology, people, wanting to live it up etc.
I’ve decided by mid-late January(at the latest end of February) to just quit all cold turkey. TV’s out the window, limit internet to 0-3hrs daily , talk to,forgive, make amends with ppl and explain to family why I’ve chosen to reject the world(many have very worldly dreams and aspirations for me that when I tell them no thanks will break their hearts)…basically set all my affairs straight and bring closure then regardless of how ppl feel just go and spend as much time in in the Lord and when it gets warmer in the wilderness figuring out who the Lord wants me to be and learning to apply “head/upstairs” knowledge . As of right now my biggest obstacles are boredom and impatience with the whole process(I suspect the more time I spend in the wilderness the less of an obstacle these will be). I guess my new approach is going to be fasting, questing and putting it all on the creator to show me how to be a like Christ. I think that’s a guaranteed way because He promises to reward those who DILIGENTLY seek him.
I was a but hesitant to post this because maybe you’re thinking great another one who claims to understand but wont do, all I can say is even i’m tired of forever reading but never really doing hence the deadlines i’ve made. Aho?
